Job summary
Apollo Care in Sydney’s eastern suburbs invites an experienced Registered Nurse to join our boutique aged care community in Waverley. This casual role focuses on person-centred care, requires RN with AHPRA registration and 2+ years of aged care experience, and offers flexible night shifts where needed.
You will lead holistic resident care, support Personal Care Workers, and collaborate with medical teams to maintain the highest standards of care in a warm, compassionate environment.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in aged care.
- Empathy and a resident-first approach.
- Able to work night shifts (desirable).
Responsibilities
- Holistic assessment in partnership with residents and representatives.
- Development and evaluation of individualized care plans.
- Supervision and support for Personal Care Workers.
- Clinical care including wound management and medication management.
- Liaison with medical and allied health staff.
- Deliver safe, high-quality care in line with standards.
- Maintain a positive resident experience through a resident-first approach.

Joining Casual, it is essential to have experience in a residential aged care environment, have flexible shift availability, and have a high level of empathy and compassion for our residents.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Passion for delivering a person-centered approach to care
- NDIS Check (or willing to obtain)
