Job summary

Arcare Aged Care in Sunshine Coast is seeking a Registered Nurse Level 2 to lead and support the care team while delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing for residents.

You will supervise staff, manage medications, wound care, care planning, and documentation, with a commitment to clinical excellence and compliance with Aged Care standards. This role offers above award rates, a 60-hour fortnight, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Min 2 years experience in a Supervisor or Clinical Lead role within Aged Care.
• Current AHPRA Registration (essential).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Sound knowledge of Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
• Expertise in medication administration and wound care with a commitment to ongoing clinical excellence.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Staff Supervision: Managing and leading a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, caregivers and support staff.
• Clinical Care: Deliver high-quality nursing care, including health assessments, monitoring vital signs, and medication management
• Wound Management: Assess, treat, and manage wounds while preventing infection
• Care Planning: Develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to residents’ needs
• Assessment & Documentation: Maintain accurate clinical records and document changes using eCase
• Pain Management: Identify and address pain concerns using appropriate strategies
• Emergency Response: Respond effectively to medical emergencies
• End-of-Life Care: Provide compassionate palliative and end-of-life support

Hourly Rate Range $58.02 - $62.09 + Super + Shift Penalties (where applicable)

Mon - Thurs 7am - 3pm, 60 Hours P/F

About The Role

What We’re Looking For
