Job summary

Arcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for permanent part-time shifts across a Melbourne location. The role involves delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing care to residents in a supportive, well-equipped environment.

Key duties include health assessments, vital-sign monitoring, medication management, wound care, care planning and meticulous documentation. Applicants must have AHPRA registration and Australian working rights, with a willingness to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA Registration (essential)
• Sound knowledge of Aged Care Accreditation Standards
• Australian Working Rights and willingness to obtain NDIS Worker Screening Check

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care, including health assessments, monitoring vital signs, and medication management
• Wound management: assess, treat and manage wounds while preventing infection
• Care planning: develop and implement individualized care plans
• Assessment & documentation: maintain accurate clinical records and document changes
• Pain management: identify and address pain concerns
• Emergency response: respond effectively to medical emergencies
• End-of-Life care: provide compassionate palliative and end-of-life support

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care that promotes positive outcomes for residents, while adhering to Arcare’s values, policies, and professional clinical standards.

• Clinical Care: Deliver high-quality nursing care, including health assessments, monitoring vital signs, and medication management

• Wound Management: Assess, treat, and manage wounds while preventing infection
• Care Planning: Develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to residents’ needs
• Assessment & Documentation: Maintain accurate clinical records and document changes using eCase
• Pain Management: Identify and address pain concerns using appropriate strategies
• Emergency Response: Respond effectively to medical emergencies
• End-of-Life Care: Provide compassionate palliative and end-of-life support
