Job summary

MAYDAY Recruitment Group is seeking a Registered Nurse for a well-established GP practice in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. You will support a team of five GPs and manage the treatment room with autonomy, delivering high-quality patient care in a community-focused setting.

Your days will include vaccinations for children and adults, wound care, cannulation, ECGs and spirometry, chronic disease management, health assessments, recalls and infection control.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Immunisation certification for childhood and paediatric vaccinations.
• Ability to administer the National Immunisation Program schedule.
• Completed cannulation training.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Vaccinations for childhood, adult and travel.
• Deliver the National Immunisation Program schedule.
• Manage vaccine stock and ensure cold chain compliance.
• Perform cannulation and wound care/dressings.
• Conduct ECGs and spirometry.
• Assist GPs with procedures.
• Chronic disease management and health assessments.
• Produce recalls and reminders.
• Support infection control and accreditation activities.
• Oversee general treatment room management.

What Your Days Will Look Like

No two days are exactly the same, but you can expect to be involved in:

• Childhood, adult and travel vaccinations
• Delivering the National Immunisation Program schedule
• Managing vaccine stock and maintaining cold chain compliance
• Cannulation
• Wound care and dressings
• ECGs and spirometry
• Assisting GPs with procedures
• Chronic disease management
