Job summary

Murraybridge Medical is seeking an experienced Registered or Enrolled nurse to join our practice. You will deliver vaccination services, triage patients, support GPs with procedures and perform ECG & Spirometry as part of routine care.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration
• Current CPR certificate
• Evidence of ongoing CPD
• General Practice experience, including care plan/health assessment experience
• Immunisation competency or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

• Preparation and administration of Covid vaccines
• Triage of patients
• Assisting GPs with procedures
• Basic investigations including ECG & Spirometry
• Chronic Disease management and identifying patient educational needs
• Ear syringing
• Daily co-ordination of the treatment room: stock control, sterilisation, general maintenance and care of medical instruments and equipment
• Wound dressings and removal of sutures
• Effective management of patient reminder/recall systems
• Coordination, management and maintenance of patient clinical data
