Job summary

Qualifications

• Fully registered nurse with AHPRA and current CPR certificate.
• Insured for own practice indemnity.
• Working with Children’s Check current and valid.
• Immunisation certificate and knowledge of childhood/travel vaccines.
• Caring, collaborative approach to patient care.
• Strong sense of urgency, compassion and professionalism.
• Proven multitasking, problem solving and time management skills.
• Courteous, well-groomed and professional in manner.
• Practice Nurse experience preferred (1 year).

Responsibilities

• Use Best Practice software for patient records and scheduling.
• Perform health assessments and care plans.
• Manage treatment room and assist with procedures.
• Admin clinic duties and daily stock replenishment.
• Administer immunisations (childhood/travel) and related vaccines.
• Conduct ECG, spirometry, and basic procedures (wound care, IVs).
• Triaging of patients and ensuring cold chain compliance.

Key responsibilities

Use Best Practice software

Health assessments/Care plans/and other assessments

Treatment Room Management

Childhood and Travel immunisations

Daily stock count and supply replenishment

General admin clinic duties

ECG, ABI, Spirometry, Iron Infusions, Wound Dressing and helping with basic procedures

Triaging of patients

Understanding cold chain

About you

Fully registered nurse with AHPRA

Insured for own practice indemnity

Current CPR Certificate and Working with Children's Check

Immunisation for registered nurses' certificate / knowledge of childhood vaccination, catch up vaccination, travel vaccination

A caring and collaborative approach to patient care

A sense of urgency, compassion and professionalism

Proven multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills

Courteous and well-groomed with a professional manner

Practice Nurse experience: 1 year (Preferred)
