Warrigal in Australia seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to lead clinical care for residents. You’ll provide high-standard, compassionate nursing, mentor team members and support the care team with evidenced-based practice.
With AHPRA registration and at least 2 years in aged care, you’ll work day and afternoon shifts across rosters. Enjoy competitive hourly pay, potential for ongoing roles, and a culture that values growth and inclusion.
As a Registered Nurse, you do not just look after residents. You are respected as an expert and looked on to lead the way, setting high standards in clinical and compassionate care. Our residents and carers look up to you, follow your lead and trust your decisions.
Opportunities: Develop broader holistic care skills across physical, mental, and social wellbeing. Further train, qualify, specialise or take on early leadership roles. With job transfers and promotions on offer, you’ll get ahead in ways that set you apart in the industry.
We support older people to have great lives. We put older people first in everything we do. On an everyday level, we help them age with dignity, independence, happiness, and connectedness. On a big picture level, we’re challenging ageist thinking in Australia.
Warrigal has firmly established itself in the aged care community for over 60 years. Despite the diverse range of retirement living and aged care services we’ve built up in that time, we still have the same appetite to grow and innovate. Meaning, you’ll have the chance to move around, get promoted or explore different areas across our expanding business in Illawarra, Southern Highlands, Queanbeyan, and Canberra – if that’s what you want.
At Warrigal, you’re not just doing care work. You’re shaping a society that respects and celebrates ageing, connects families, and frees up their time to create treasured, lasting memories. You’re creating a culture of kindness, compassion and understanding that can be passed down to future generations. Let this be your legacy.
We reserve the right to shortlist and interview upon application receipt and this vacancy may be closed once a suitable applicant has accepted a letter of offer.
We welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates who hold current and unrestricted work rights in Australia. Warrigal is currently not offering visa sponsorship. Applicants must have the right to work in Australia at the time of application and throughout the recruitment process.
We proudly acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we work and live, and we honour their ongoing cultural and spiritual connections to Country. We pay our respects to Elders past, present, and emerging.
At Warrigal, we believe in celebrating diversity and creating a culture of inclusion and support in everything we do. We embrace the unique experiences, backgrounds, identities, abilities, and perspectives of our residents, customers, staff and volunteers to create a warm and welcoming environment where everyone feels valued and respected.
Realise your potential in a place where appreciation, belonging, growth and purpose allows everyone to thrive.
If successful, you may be asked to do a medical, National Criminal History Check or NDIS Worker Screening Check, and provide references.
