Job summary

Arcare is hiring multiple Part Time Registered Nurses for a brand-new aged care residence in Melbourne. You will cover AM & PM shifts, with a requirement of 3–4 consecutive days of availability, and contribute to high-quality, person-centred care across residents.

Minimum $55.37 p/h plus super and shift penalties where applicable. You will work within a supportive team and engage in ongoing professional development, training days, and employee discounts from top brands.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration is essential.
• Sound knowledge of Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
• Able to work in a team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care.
• Assess, monitor vital signs and manage medications.
• Assess, treat and manage wounds, prevent infection.
• Develop and implement individualised care plans.
• Maintain accurate clinical records using eCase.
• Identify and address pain, respond to emergencies.
• Provide compassionate end-of-life and palliative care.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care that promotes positive outcomes for residents, while adhering to Arcare's values, policies, and professional clinical standards.

• Clinical Care: Deliver high-quality nursing care, including health assessments, monitoring vital signs, and medication management
• Wound Management: Assess, treat, and manage wounds while preventing infection\
• Care Planning: Develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to residents' needs
• Assessment & Documentation: Maintain accurate clinical records and document changes using eCase
• Pain Management: Identify and address pain concerns using appropriate strategies
• Emergency Response: Respond effectively to medical emergencies
• End-of-Life Care: Provide compassionate palliative and end-of-life support

What we're looking for
