Arcare Aged Care Kanwal is seeking a Night Duty Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents at our Kanwal residence. You will monitor resident health, administer medications, and respond to clinical needs during night shifts.

You will work as part of a supportive team, adhere to AHPRA requirements, and uphold Arcare's values, with opportunities for professional development and a secure, fulfilling role.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA Registration is essential.
• Minimum 2+ years of RN experience in Australia.
• Sound knowledge of Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
• Adaptable, passionate, and eager to learn.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality nursing care including health assessments and medication management.
• Assess, treat, and manage wounds while preventing infection.
• Develop and implement individualised care plans for residents.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and document changes using eCase.
• Identify and address pain concerns using appropriate strategies.
• Respond effectively to medical emergencies.
• Provide compassionate palliative and end-of-life support.

About The Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care that promotes positive outcomes for residents, while adhering to Arcare’s values, policies, and professional clinical standards.

• Clinical Care: Deliver high-quality nursing care, including health assessments, monitoring vital signs, and medication management
• Wound Management: Assess, treat, and manage wounds while preventing infection
• Care Planning: Develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to residents’ needs
• Assessment & Documentation: Maintain accurate clinical records and document changes using eCase
• Pain Management: Identify and address pain concerns using appropriate strategies
• Emergency Response: Respond effectively to medical emergencies
• End-of-Life Care: Provide compassionate palliative and end-of-life support

What We’re Looking For

• Current AHPRA Registration (essential)
• Atleast 2+ years of experience as a RN in Australia
• Sound knowledge of Aged Care Accreditation Standards
• Adaptable, passionate, and eager to learn
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skillsFriendly, professional, and effective communication abilities
