Job summary

Arcare Portarlington is seeking a Night Duty Enrolled Nurse to work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, delivering high-quality care to residents in line with Arcare’s values and standards.

You will provide personal care, administer medications, monitor health, and document care using eCase. AHPRA registration and Diploma of Enrolled Nursing are essential, with a focus on teamwork, clear communication, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Active AHPRA registration and enrolled nursing diploma.
• Knowledge of Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
• Adaptable, passionate, and eager to learn.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Friendly, clear and effective communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care: Assisting residents with ADLs including showering, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
• Medication Administration: Administering medications as prescribed and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Health Monitoring: Observing, recording, and reporting vital signs and changes in condition.
• Wound Care: Providing basic wound care and dressing changes for minor wounds.
• Assessment & Reporting: Conducting assessments and documenting care via eCase, escalating concerns to the RN or healthcare team.

About The Role
