VisaPedia is seeking a Registered Migration Agent or experienced Migration Assistant to join our Melbourne team. This full-time role offers the chance to support clients through Australian visa processes and provide expert guidance.

You will work within a collaborative firm, liaising with clients and senior staff, ensuring accurate documentation, timely submissions, and adherence to OMARA standards. Applicants must be registered with OMARA or eligible for registration, fluent in Punjabi & Hindi,

Qualifications

• Current registration with the OMARA or demonstrated eligibility and commitment to obtaining registration.
• Must be fluent in Punjabi & Hindi.
• Substantial experience in migration law and visa application processes.
• Ability to interpret complex immigration legislation and policy materials clearly.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of visa applications, including collection of supporting documentation.

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Migration Agent or Experienced Migration Assistant to join our growing team at VisaPedia in Melbourne VIC 3000 & Truganina Branch 3029. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on clients' lives by providing expert migration guidance and support. Whether you are a registered migration agent looking to advance your career or an experienced migration assistant ready to take the next step, this role will allow you to develop your expertise whilst contributing to our reputation for excellence in migration services. You will work within a collaborative team environment, reporting to senior management and contributing directly to client success and firm growth.

Key responsibilities

Preparation of visa applications, including the collection of supporting documentation and preparing visa applications

Experience in Counselling & Visa Filing

Experience in General Skilled Migration, Employer sponsored visas

Experience in Skills Assessments

Assisting in research as directed by the Migration Agents

Ensuring everything is actioned to deadline so visas are lodged on time

Communicating with a variety of clients

What we're looking for

Current registration with the OMARA or demonstrated eligibility and commitment to obtaining registration

Must be fluent in Punjabi & Hindi

Substantial experience in migration law and visa application processes, with a strong understanding of diverse visa categories including skilled migration, family sponsorship, temporary visas, employer sponsored visas and permanent residence pathways

Proven ability to interpret complex immigration legislation and policy materials accurately

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to clients from diverse backgrounds

Strong organisational and case management abilities, with meticulous attention to detail

High degree of professional integrity and commitment to ethical practice standards

Ability to work independently whilst being a collaborative and supportive team member

Customer service excellence and the ability to build strong client relationships

Knowledge of current Australian migration policy and legislative frameworks
