Job summary

AKG Australia is seeking a Training Business Manager to lead the Rockhampton region's AMEP/SEE activities. You will mentor staff, ensure compliant training service delivery and collaborate with senior management to meet contractual requirements.

You will build relationships with referral agencies, employers and community groups to boost participation, while effectively scheduling classrooms and trainers across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing teams to drive positive results and meet budget requirements.
• Experience in the education/training sector is preferred, but not compulsory.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of team management experience is required.
• Review, manage and be accountable for KPI's and the plan for your region.
• Experience empowering, engaging and supporting a team across multiple locations by building effective working relationships.
• Have a strong grasp on business development and the ability to drive KPI's to achieve outcomes.
• Exposure to business development experience is required.
• Knowledge of government training contracts and compliance requirements would be advantageous.
• A Working with Children Check is required before commencement.

Responsibilities

• Put your relationship skills to good use working with referral agencies, employers and community associations to increase participation.
• Management of staff to support them and ensure success in their roles.
• Ensure effective utilisation of trainers, classrooms and class scheduling to maximise our offering through the region.
