Job summary

TAFE Queensland invites applications for an Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP)/Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) Operations Officer at the Rockhampton campus. The role focuses on welcoming AMEP/SEE learners and providing guidance and ongoing support throughout their learning journey.

This temporary part-time (0.5 FTE) position reports to the Team Leader AMEP/SEE Student Services and runs until 30 June 2027, with a salary range of $53,497–$58,276 (gross) per annum and a range of

• Three year Australian undergraduate degree or overseas equivalent.
• TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or equivalent.
• Current Queensland Driver’s Licence.
• Current Blue Card or Exemption Card (or ability to obtain prior to commencement)
• Experience working with migrants and refugees (highly desirable).
• Proficiency in a relevant community language (highly desirable).
• Post graduate TESOL qualification (highly desirable).

Your Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity available for an Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP)/Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) Operations Officer to join our team at TAFE Queensland’s

Rockhampton

Campus. You may be required to perform work at other TAFE Queensland campuses.

The purpose of this role is to make a positive difference in the lives of AMEP and SEE learners by providing a welcoming first point of contact, personalised guidance and ongoing support throughout their learning journey.

This position is available on a temporary part-time (0.5 FTE) basis until

30 June 2027 unless otherwise determined, and reports to the Team Leader, AMEP/SEE Student Services.

Salary

The salary range for this position at the PO3 classification level is $53,497 - $58,276 (gross) per annum.

Mandatory Requirements

Applicants must possess the following:

• Three year Australian undergraduate degree or overseas equivalent;
