Job summary

AKG Australia is seeking a dedicated assessor/coordinator to support our diverse range of students on their learning journey. You will lead booking, manage and complete Pre-training Assessments, assess student skill levels under the ACSF and determine the best pathway for each student, contributing to the delivery of the Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) program.

Qualifications

Experience with diverse and disadvantaged learners.
Strong planning, organisation and administration with attention to detail.
Confident communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Computer skills in Word, Excel, Access, Internet and Email.

Responsibilities

Conduct and document initial client interviews and pre-training assessments per the Training and Assessment Strategy.
Ensure all assessments meet ASQA and SEE contractual requirements.
Record and maintain accurate client information in learners' portfolios/files and data systems.
Demonstrate flexibility across levels, cohorts and delivery focus to maintain a student-centred approach.
