Job summary

Aboriginal Land Council NSW – Griffith NSW is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations of the Griffith regional office and support Local Aboriginal Land Councils across the region.

Reporting to the Zone Director, you will guide a multidisciplinary team, provide strategic advice, oversee financial, HR and governance functions, and deliver capacity-building training to LALCs and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership managing diverse teams and delivering operational outcomes.
• Strong ability to interpret legislation, policy and governance frameworks.
• Excellent written communication for executive-level reports and briefings.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level operational and strategic support to the Zone Director.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing regional team.
• Prepare detailed reports, briefings and recommendations on complex matters.
