Job summary

General Pants Co. is seeking a State Manager (South) to lead store performance and customer experience across NSW, VIC, TAS and SA.

You will own the customer experience brand-wide in your region, set operational standards, and build a high-performing team of Store Managers to translate strategy into action on the shop floor. Reporting to the Head of Retail, you will drive sales, margins and KPI performance while collaborating across the business to embed improvements and growth across General

Qualifications

Proven experience as a State/Regional/Area Manager in retail.

Responsibilities

Own the in-store customer experience across your region, from service standards and the service model through to visual merchandising and brand storytelling.
Get on the floor. Spend real time in your stores with your Store Managers and teams to read the customer, obstacles and opportunities.
Deliver sales, gross margin and profit budgets for each store and the region, and drive KPI like conversion, ATV, UPT, IPC and sales per hour.
Turn around underperforming stores with clear plans, named owners and firm timeframes, sharing learnings regionally.
Protect margin through wage-to-sales, store cost control, stock loss and stock take compliance.
Grow omni performance from store across ship from store, click and collect and returns, and drive CRM acquisition and retention.
