Job summary

Queensland Health is seeking a Medical Workforce Manager in Mount Isa to lead the Medical Workforce Unit across North West Hospital and Health Service. You will oversee recruitment, onboarding, credentialing, and day-to-day workforce operations, providing strategic guidance to the Executive Team on workforce initiatives and trends.

Qualifications

• Leadership of medical workforce services across North West Hospital and Health Service.
• Experience in recruitment, onboarding, credentialing and workforce operations.
• Strategic advisory experience to Executive Team and Chief Executive on workforce initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Medical Workforce Unit across North West HHS.
• Lead the Medical Workforce Unit including medical recruitment, onboarding and credentialing.
• Advise the Executive Team on medical workforce initiatives and risks.
• Drive workforce planning, recruitment campaigns and service improvements.
