Job summary

ISS Facility Services is seeking an experienced Regional Manager, Injury Assist NSW/ACT to lead the workers’ compensation and injury management function across NSW and the ACT. You will oversee compliance with ISS's NSW self-insurance licence, drive early intervention and sustainable return-to-work outcomes, and manage financially responsible claims.

Qualifications

At least five years’ experience in workers’ compensation, including early intervention and return to work.
Experience leading and developing a claims or injury management team.
Experience in a self-insurance environment with regulatory compliance and audits.
Comprehensive knowledge of NSW and ACT workers’ compensation legislation and guidelines.
Current driver’s licence and ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

Lead the NSW/ACT Injury Assist team with workload allocation, portfolio oversight and performance conversations.
Develop, implement and review workers’ compensation strategies across NSW and the ACT.
Maintain compliance with the NSW self-insurance licence and reporting requirements.
Oversee ACT insurance arrangements and progress claims with insurers for sound outcomes.
Provide expert guidance on complex claims, injury management, return to work, disputes and settlements.
Partner with stakeholders to develop effective claims strategies and improve safety and risk management.
