Job summary

Applus+ Pacific is seeking a Growth & Development Manager – West to lead regional business development across key markets in Western Australia. You will build a healthy opportunity pipeline, connect clients with Applus+ capabilities, and drive revenue growth while collaborating with operations, technical specialists and commercial teams.

The role requires 8+ years in BD within technical sectors, strong communication, and CRM expertise.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in business development and account growth within technical, engineering, construction, resources, infrastructure, energy or industrial services
• Proven ability to identify client drivers and turn opportunities into profitable revenue
• Experience developing cross-sell, service expansion or new market-entry opportunities across multiple service lines
• Strong communication, presentation, writing and stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work from site level through to executive leadership
• Tertiary qualification in business, commerce, engineering, law, communications, project management or a related discipline
• Experience in Testing, Inspection and Certification, asset integrity, engineering services or adjacent technical services sectors

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional growth plans aligned with revenue targets and market opportunities
• Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities across target customers, markets and service lines
• Lead opportunities through the Applus+ Sales Process, from prospecting to proposal and award
• Build trusted relationships with prospective and existing clients to grow priority accounts
• Represent Applus+ by connecting customers with services, capabilities and technology solutions
• Maintain accurate CRM data, pipeline visibility and forecasting insights
• Share market intelligence and lessons learned to strengthen business development effectiveness
• Partner with operations, technical SMEs, marketing, finance and precontracts to develop client-focused solutions
