Job summary

Indigeco Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator to support NSW Government transport client on a 6-month contract. You will coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, manage contractors, and ensure WHS compliance across a large portfolio of assets.

You will act as the primary interface for facilities maintenance, tracking outcomes and maintaining documentation while delivering safe, reliable infrastructure for the public sector.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate in electrical or HVAC or substantial facilities maintenance experience.
• Current driver licence required.
• Experience coordinating maintenance in complex operational environments.
• Strong contractor management and service provider oversight.
• Ability to identify issues and coordinate practical solutions within timeframes.
• Understanding WHS, safety, procurement and admin requirements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills; SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary operational interface for facilities maintenance across assets and locations.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance to required standards.
• Inspect facilities and coordinate repairs and minor works.
• Manage maintenance work through planning, delivery, and completion phases.
• Brief contractors, specify scopes, monitor performance and outcomes.
• Maintain documentation, reports and records of maintenance activities.
• Support WHS and safety requirements, identifying risks and escalations.
