Job summary

Regional Australia Institute – Canberra ACT is seeking an experienced Events & Membership Manager to lead flagship events and education programs and grow a national membership network. Reporting to the General Manager External Affairs & Engagement, you will drive engagement, manage budgets, and coordinate speakers, sponsors and partners across multi-program initiatives.

• Experience delivering large and small scale conferences, events and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship management capabilities.
• Experience working with sponsors and external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

• Delivering the Regions Rising Event Series
• Managing delivery of the Executive Masterclass Program
• Managing delivery of the Regional Activator Leaders Program
• Coordinating the research webinar series
• Recruiting and managing speakers, sponsors and partners
• Supporting membership acquisition, retention and engagement activities
