Job summary

Archer Daniels Midland Company seeks a Regional Engineering Manager to lead engineering delivery across ADM’s processing plants in a multi-discipline environment. The role reports to Engineering Services and requires coordination with Mechanical Integrity, Structural Integrity, Reliability, Safety, Automation, Plant Operations, and CAPEX teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Civil, or related).
• Professional licenses such as PE/PMP or equivalent.
• 10+ years of progressive engineering experience in process industries (oil & gas, specialty chemicals, food & beverage, or agricultural processing).
• Experience as Owner’s Engineer coordinating multi-discipline efforts and interfacing across diverse teams.
• Experience preparing and evaluating technical bid packages and EPC proposals.
• Strong knowledge of engineering standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with engineering design tools, project management systems, and digital collaboration platforms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Owner’s Engineer and provide technical leadership for regional projects.
• Coordinate between project teams, EPC contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Lead multi-discipline engineering design packages (process, mechanical, electrical, civil/structural, instrumentation, automation).
• Develop technical bid packages and evaluation criteria.
• Review EPC proposals and contractor submittals for compliance with standards and requirements.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and resources for small capital/OPEX projects.
• Provide technical assurance through design and execution phases.
• Collaborate with procurement, construction, and operations for seamless execution.
• Mentor junior staff and promote technical excellence.
