Job summary

Woodham Petroleum is seeking a hands-on Business Development Manager for Northern NSW. You will win new business, grow existing accounts across bulk fuel, lubricants, tanks and related products, and develop retail fuel customers from first contact to supply agreements.

The role involves prospecting, pricing negotiations, and maintaining a reliable sales pipeline with forecasts. Ideally based in Dubbo, Narrabri or Northern NSW, with potential to expand into Southern Queensland.

Qualifications

• Proven sales or business development experience and a track record of profitable growth.
• Experience managing a regional territory and customer portfolio.
• Strong negotiation, commercial judgment and follow-through.
• Fuel, lubricants or related industry experience is desirable.
• A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel throughout the territory.

Responsibilities

• Win new business through prospecting, customer visits and follow-up.
• Develop retail fuel customers and convert opportunities into supply agreements.
• Retain and grow accounts, identify at risk customers, re-engage dormant or declining accounts and increase share of wallet.
• Prepare proposals and negotiate pricing that meets volume and margin targets.
• Keep a qualified pipeline with clear next actions, expected close dates and commercial values; update forecasts weekly.
• Work with depot teams to onboard customers and deliver reliable service.
