Job summary

Lowes Petroleum in Cooma is seeking an experienced Heavy Rigid driver to join our team. You will be responsible for the safe delivery of fuel to various customers within the region, reporting to the Depot Manager.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a guaranteed minimum of 70 hours per fortnight and a flat rate for overtime. We provide uniforms and PPE, a 10c/L fuel discount, strong HSSE support, and an exceptional driver-training program to ensure safety and compliance on every

Qualifications

• Valid HR licence with experience.
• Dangerous Goods licence considered an advantage.
• BFM Statement of Attainment.
• Commercial Driver Medical Fitness.
• Excellent driving history - Traffic history report required.
• Good communication skills both written and verbal.
• Good customer service skills and focus.

Responsibilities

• Loading, transportation and delivery of fuel products to retail, commercial, agricultural & industrial customers.
• Perform daily pre-start checks on vehicles and equipment.
• Manage fatigue and perform log book duties.
• Develop, grow and maintain good relationships with our customers.
• Ensure compliance and safety is adhered to at all times.
• Carry out all duties within set timeframes and follow instructions.
