Job summary

Lowes Petroleum is seeking a driven sales professional to own a diverse customer portfolio across the North West Queensland region. This end-to-end role combines long-term relationship management with proactive new business development, supported by travel to Wondai 3-4 nights per month.

The ideal candidate will build meaningful partnerships, influence stakeholders, and deliver tailored sales solutions while meeting KPIs for margin and sales volume. A strong field sales background is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in fuel or related industries.
• Proven ability to develop and manage an opportunity pipeline.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder influence skills.
• Experience with tender responses and quotes is beneficial.
• Travel mobility across North Queensland with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Deliver tailored sales solutions meeting customer needs.
• Prepare quotes for ad-hoc and long-term accounts.
• Input and assist with tender responses as required.
• Manage safety, credit, and contractual risk.
• Achieve KPI targets for sales volume and operating margin.
• Develop and implement sales management plans.
• Participate in sales training and development programs.
