Job summary

Westpac is seeking a Regional Bank Manager to lead Salamander Bay, Maitland, Raymond Terrace and Green Hills branches. You’ll provide hands-on leadership, coach and support your teams, and drive customer, risk, operational and business outcomes across the four locations.

This full-time role involves regular travel between branches, with a branded fleet car provided to support your mobility and service delivery across communities. Flexible work options may also be part of the role.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership experience, ideally gained within Retail Banking, although this isn’t essential.
• The ability to coach, support and bring together teams working across multiple locations.
• Experience taking accountability for risk and compliance, team performance and customer experience
• Experience delivering business outcomes and identifying opportunities for sustainable growth
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, including the ability to navigate challenging situations

Responsibilities

• Lead four branches: Salamander Bay, Maitland, Raymond Terrace and Green Hills.
• Provide hands-on leadership, coaching and support to branch teams.
• Be accountable for customer outcomes, risk, operations and business results across the four locations.
• Travel between branches as part of the weekly schedule; spend time across each location.
• Utilise the branded fleet car provided for mobility between sites.

What’s the role?

Here’s an opportunity to make your mark across four local communities. As our newly created Regional Bank Manager, you’ll lead our Salamander Bay, Maitland, Raymond Terrace and Green Hills branches.

You’ll be at the heart of our branch network, bringing people together to create brilliant experiences for our customers. You’ll provide hands on leadership, coach and support your teams, and help them thrive while taking accountability for customer, risk, operational and business outcomes across the four branches.

This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday. You’ll spend time across each of your branches, so regular travel between locations will be part of your working week. A branded fleet car will be provided to the successful applicant.

What do I need?
