Job summary

Turck Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive regional growth in Brisbane and surrounding regions. You will own the development of a large, existing account portfolio, manage opportunities, and collaborate with Inside Sales to deliver value-based automation solutions.

You will build strong customer relationships with engineers, maintenance teams and procurement professionals, while growing market share and applying commercial acumen to close deals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience in industrial automation, electrical, controls, manufacturing, or technical B2B sales.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with engineers, managers and procurement professionals.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of growing accounts.
• Willingness to travel across the Brisbane region.
• Proactive, self-motivated and highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow a portfolio of customer accounts.
• Proactively engage with customers daily.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Prepare, present and follow up quotations.
• Support product selection and solution recommendations.
• Leverage CRM and sales tools to manage opportunities.
