Job summary

Mission Australia is seeking a Regional Manager Asset Services to lead maintenance, compliance, and asset improvements across a housing portfolio. You will drive contractor performance, manage a high‑performing Asset Team and ensure safe, quality homes for tenants, while delivering strategic projects and strong stakeholder relations.

This role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and data-driven decision making to achieve outcomes that improve resident living conditions and asset performance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading asset, property, facilities or maintenance operations across a diverse property portfolio.
• Knowledge of asset management, building maintenance, contractor management, compliance and property lifecycle planning.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasts and expenditure to deliver value-for-money outcomes.
• Experience coaching and developing high-performing teams within a complex operational environment.
• Strong understanding of WHS, regulatory and asset compliance requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management with contractors, internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of responsive, planned, cyclical and vacant property maintenance programs across a diverse housing portfolio.
• Develop and lead a high-performing Asset Team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Oversee contractor and supplier performance to ensure quality, value-for-money and SLAs.
• Ensure properties meet legislative, regulatory, WHS and asset compliance through governance and QA processes.
• Monitor asset performance, using data to drive informed decisions and risk management.
• Manage regional asset budgets, forecasts and expenditure to align with objectives.
• Lead asset-related projects and upgrades, building strong internal and external relationships.
