Job summary

Mission Australia Housing in Darwin is seeking a Team Leader Assets to lead maintenance, performance and long-term sustainability of our social and affordable housing portfolio across Darwin. Qualifications

• Strong background in asset management, property maintenance, construction, facilities, or housing.
• Ability to coordinate maintenance programs and ensure properties are safe, compliant and well maintained.
• Demonstrated experience working with key stakeholders and effective collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, guidance and support to the Asset team.
• Oversee responsive, planned and cyclical maintenance programs to ensure properties are safe, compliant and well maintained.
• Manage contractor performance, budgets and service delivery to achieve quality, cost-effective maintenance outcomes.
• Develop and implement long-term asset management plans that support the sustainability and performance of the housing portfolio.
• Monitor asset performance, compliance requirements and key performance indicators, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and analyse asset management reports, budgets, forecasts and property data to support informed decision-making.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, government agencies, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate across Housing, Assets and Community Development teams to deliver integrated services and positive outcomes for tenants and communities.
