Job summary

Red Chilli Perth Pty Ltd trading as Red Chilli Sichuan Restaurant in Perth is seeking a Chef for a permanent, full-time role to prepare and present a variety of lunch and restaurant-style dishes, while upholding high standards of food quality, presentation and safety.

You will follow recipes, assist with menu planning, manage stock and kitchen hygiene, and work alongside front-of-house staff during busy service periods in a fast-paced café/restaurant setting.

Qualifications

• Relevant commercial cookery qualifications and/or at least one year relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, cooking and presenting a variety of restaurant-style dishes.
• Preparing ingredients, sauces, stocks and other food components.
• Following recipes and maintaining consistent food quality and presentation.
• Monitoring food preparation and cooking processes to ensure timely service.

• Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering and receiving supplies.
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and workplace safety.
• Ensuring food is stored, prepared and handled in accordance with food safety requirements.
• Working effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff during busy service periods.
• Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and work areas.
