Job summary

NSW Health is seeking a Recovery Partner, Tail Claims, to drive workplace rehabilitation across NSW Ambulance. The role focuses on guiding injured workers and stakeholders to achieve sustainable recovery and reduced claim durations, within a high-performing emergency services environment.

You will develop recovery at work plans, collaborate with doctors and providers, and ensure compliance with workers compensation and WHS legislation while delivering education to managers on proactive

Qualifications

• Experience guiding and supporting injured workers through workplace rehabilitation processes.
• Ability to develop and monitor tailored Recovery at Work plans.
• Knowledge of Workers’ Compensation claims management and WHS legislation.

Responsibilities

• Guide and support injured workers, managers and stakeholders through workplace rehabilitation.
• Develop Recovery at Work plans to support return to pre-injury roles.
• Provide expert advice on injury management and return-to-work obligations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant policies and legislation.
• Educate managers to strengthen proactive rehabilitation practices.
• Support management of non-work-related injuries through return-to-work plans.
• Maintain cooperative relationships with workers, medical professionals and industrial associations.
