Qscan Group in Nowra is seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our clinic on a full-time, fixed-term basis until approximately 4 April 2027. You will be the first point of contact for patients, manage registrations, bookings, and billing, and support back-office duties with our booking and administration systems.

The ideal candidate brings strong customer service, organisational and interpersonal skills, and prior reception experience in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a reception role, preferably in medical/healthcare settings.
• Strong communication and phone manner.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain timely service.
• Proficiency with databases and systems.

Responsabilités

• First point of contact for patients, registrations and bookings.

About The Opportunity

Are you organised, detail-oriented, and love providing exceptional customer service? Our Medical Reception team in Nowra support a wide variety of patients, speak with our doctors and referrers over the phone, as well as manage phone and computer bookings.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Receptionist to join our clinic on a full-time, fixed-term basis until approximately 4 April 2027.

Working hours are Monday - Friday.

As a Medical Receptionist, You Will

• Be the first point of contact for patients, handling face-to-face and phone registrations, bookings, triage, and queries.
• Manage payments, issue receipts, and handle billing and invoicing.
• Operate our booking system efficiently.
• Assist with back-office activities, including outbound calls, data entry, and reporting as directed by your manager.
