Qscan Group is seeking a Clinical Assistant at our Southport site on a permanent, part-time basis. You will support medical imaging departments, assist with appointments, collect samples, and help maintain a clean and safe clinical environment.

The role requires availability Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, with training offered for IV cannulation if needed. Join a team that prioritises patient care and professional development within a flexible work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a medical imaging team.
• Commitment to maintaining patient privacy, dignity and confidentiality.
• Proficiency in word processing; experience with Radiology Software preferred.
• Previous experience in Medical Imaging is highly regarded.
• IV cannulation desirable; training can be provided.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic Clinical Assistant to join our Southport team on a Permanent, Part-Time basis, providing essential support in our medical imaging departments to ensure high-quality radiology services for our patients.

For this role you need to be available to work, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance to the clinical departments, pathology service providers, processing medical images, obtaining blood results, and assisting patients with appointments.


• Maintain high standards of cleanliness for clinic facilities and imaging equipment.


• Collect, package, and store infectious waste/sharps and used developing/fixing solutions according to national standards and company policies.

About You

As an ideal Clinical Assistant, you will bring:

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a medical imaging team, anticipating needs and ensuring patient care standards.


• Strong commitment to maintaining patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.


• Proficiency in computer skills, including word processing; experience with Radiology Software is preferred.


• Previous experience in the Medical Imaging industry is highly regarded.


• Previous experience in IV cannulation is desirable, however, training can be provided.
