Job summary

Advanced Foot Care Hervey Bay, part of the Healthia Group, is seeking a friendly, experienced Receptionist to join our podiatry clinic on a full-time basis. Do you excel at delivering outstanding customer service and keeping clinic operations running smoothly?

You will manage bookings, assist with footwear fittings, maintain patient records and support podiatrists. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and booking systems, professional presentation, and a can-do attitude are essential.

The Opportunity

Advanced Foot Care Hervey Bay is seeking a friendly and experienced Receptionist to join our Podiatry clinic team on a full-time basis. For the right candidate, this role may transition to full-time in the future.

The role is ideally suited to someone with a "can-do" attitude, a background in administration and someone who is process-driven. There are endless development opportunities for the right person!

Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Providing a warm and welcoming environment for all patients, ensuring a positive experience from the moment they enter the clinic.

Efficiently managing patient bookings, cancellations, and follow-up appointments.

Assisting customers with fitting and purchasing footwear, ensuring they receive the best possible advice and products.

Ensuring all podiatry instruments are properly sterilised and maintained according to our stringent hygiene standards.

Providing assistance to podiatrists as needed, ensuring smooth clinic operations.

Managing patient records, handling billing and payments and performing general administrative tasks.

What We're Looking For

Ideally, we'd like someone with allied health or medical reception experience, but a positive attitude is by far the most important! We'd love to hear from people who want to work in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment, are confident meeting deadlines and achieving team-based goals, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including phone manner.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated team player with a professional presentation, a passion for excellent customer service, and the ability to work under pressure, multitask and maintain close attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and patient booking systems is required, with previous experience in Allied Health reception and patient care highly regarded.
