Job summary

My FootDr Toowoomba, part of Healthia, is seeking a friendly casual Receptionist to join our podiatry clinic team. You will welcome patients, manage bookings, assist with footwear fittings, and support clinicians in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of reception or admin experience, excellent communication skills, and a professional presentation. Healthcare experience is highly regarded and Microsoft Office proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months' reception or administrative experience.
• Previous experience in healthcare is highly regarded.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (including phone manner).
• Self-motivated team player with a can-do attitude and professional presentation.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm and welcoming environment for all patients, ensuring a positive experience from the moment they enter the clinic.
• Efficiently manage patient bookings, cancellations, and follow-up appointments.
• Assist customers with fitting and purchasing footwear, ensuring they receive the best possible advice and products.
• Ensure all podiatry instruments are properly sterilised and maintained according to our hygiene standards.
• Provide assistance to podiatrists as needed, ensuring smooth clinic operations.
• Manage patient records, handle billing and payments, and perform general administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities:
