Job summary

dnata is recruiting for Ramp and Baggage Agents at Sydney International Airport on a permanent part-time basis (minimum 24 hours per week).

Key duties include moving ground service equipment, marshalling aircraft, baggage management, and complying with safety procedures. A strong customer service focus and Australian/New Zealand residency or permanent residency are required. Onsite parking and uniform costs are covered, with ample training and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

A few of the key responsibilities for a Ramp and Baggage Agent are:

• The movement of Ground Services Equipment e.g. aircraft stairs, mobile conveyors, tugs, belt loaders etc
• Marshalling of arriving aircraft in accordance
• Comply with safety standards and operating procedures
• The safe and timely Aircraft push back and towing activities, driving and operating diverse Pushback tractors both conventional and Tow-bar-less types
• Hands on capacity handling a range of duties
• Baggage management

Working for dnata at the airport there are a few must haves for you to be successful:

• You need to have Australian / New Zealand citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency
• You must be willing to undertake a Pre-employment medical test and be able to lift 32kg
• You must be willing to undergo an Australian Federal Police Security check
• You will need a valid driver’s license
• Basic – Intermediate computer skills
• Excellent communication skills – Verbal and Written
• High level of customer service skills
• Available to work on a rotating roster
