Job summary

PYBAR Mining Services Pty is seeking motivated Offsiders to join our Raise Bore Division and support underground raise bore drilling operations. You will work both independently and as part of a high performing team, gaining valuable skills and knowledge to advance your mining career.

Ideal candidates have prior underground or drilling experience; a valid manual licence, and required certificates (Height, First Aid).

Qualifications

• Previous Raise Bore / Drilling / Underground experience is beneficial.
• Valid Manual Drivers Licence and ability to confidently drive a manual vehicle (required).
• Working at Heights Certificate (required).
• First Aid Certificate within 3 years (required).
• Ability to meet all site access requirements (medical, DAS, National Police Clearance).
• Operate manual vehicles underground (Toyota Landcruiser) and large underground mining equipment (Integrated Tool Carrier).

ABOUT US

PYBAR – a Thiess Company – is a leading provider of mining services, specialising in metalliferous underground hard rock mining. Since 1993, our success has been built on safe, efficient underground infrastructure development and consistent, reliable production.

We deliver projects across Australia, from large, established mining operations to greenfield developments. Our capabilities span mine development, production, cable bolting and drilling, raise boring, shotcreting, and fleet services.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re seeking motivated experienced Offsiders to join our Raise Bore Division. This role offers the chance to work both independently and as part of a high performing team, while learning from experienced professionals in the underground mining industry.

You’ll play a key part in supporting our raise bore drilling operations, gaining valuable skills and knowledge to grow your mining career.

ROSTER & LOCATION:

• Full-time position on either a 14 days on / 14 days off or 14 days on / 7 days off roster.
• Ideally based in Victoria, though candidates from Western Australia or South Australia with prior underground or drilling experience are encouraged to apply.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Previous Raise Bore / Drilling / Underground experience (Beneficial)
