Job summary

PYBAR Mining Services Pty is seeking an experienced Underground Fitter to join the Rosebery Mine team in Tasmania. This is a full-time role with a 14:14 FIFO or DIDO/residential roster, accommodation, a travel allowance and a meal allowance provided.

You will work both independently and as part of a team, delivering maintenance and repairs across our underground fleet, expanding your underground fitting experience in a safety-focused environment.

The services we provide range from mine development, production, cable bolting and drilling, raise boring, shotcreting and fleet haulage.

THE OPPORTUNITY

PYBAR are looking for an experienced Underground Fitter to join our team at Rosebery Mine in Rosebery Tasmania!

This is a full time position on a 14:14 FIFO or DIDO/Residential roster with accommodation, a travel allowance and a meal allowance provided.

You will work both independently and as a part of a team, delivering high quality maintenance and repairs across our underground fleet. This is a great opportunity to expand your underground fitting experience in a supportive and safety focused environment.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Trade qualifications - Diesel Fitter (Essential)
• Have proven experience working on underground heavy equipment including Sandvik jumbo experience (Essential)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• A positive can-do attitude with the ability to work as part of a team
• A strong focus on safety
• Hold a current Australian Drivers License
• Hold or be willing to obtain a current National Police Clearance.
