Job summary

PYBAR Mining Services Pty, a Thiess Company, is seeking an Underground All Rounder for the Eloise Copper Mine in Cloncurry, QLD, on a 15:13 14:14 roster. You will draw on underground charge up and loader experience across diverse equipment while prioritising safety and teamwork.

Applicants should hold QSEC, a current Australian Manual Drivers Licence, and be willing to obtain a National Police Clearance. Opportunities exist from Brisbane, Townsville and Mt Isa.

Qualifications

• Previous underground mining experience in various operator roles.
• Experience with charge up and loader operations in underground mines.
• Must hold QSEC and a current Australian Manual Driver's Licence.
• Strong safety focus and good verbal/written communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate underground loaders and charge up equipment across sites.
• Maintain safety standards and work as part of a focused crew.
• Support production targets with efficient equipment handling.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Underground All Rounder to join our close knit team at Eloise Copper Mine operation in Cloncurry QLD, on a 15:13 14:14 roster.

To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate current or recent experience in an underground Charge up / Loader position and a number of years’ experience working on a variety of underground mining equipment. Points of hire of this role are available from Brisbane, Townsville and Mt Isa.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Previous experience working in various underground mine operator positions
• Extensive experience working in underground mining
• Must have shotfirer core competencies
• Must hold current QSEC
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• A positive can‑do attitude with the ability to work as part of a team
• A strong focus on safety
• Hold a current Australian Manual Drivers License
• Hold or be willing to obtain a current National Police Clearance.
