Job summary

Aurizon is seeking motivated individuals to join our infrastructure maintenance team as Track Maintainers in Dry Creek, Adelaide. This hands-on role focuses on safety, reliability, and on-site rail maintenance across the region.

No rail experience is required, as ongoing training will be provided. A current White Card is mandatory, and a Category 1 Rail Medical may be required during recruitment.

Qualifications

• Hold a current White Card/Construction card (mandatory)
• Safety-conscious with a strong commitment to following workplace procedures
• Hardworking, motivated, and reliable
• A team player who can also work independently when required
• Willing to undertake necessary training for the role
• Basic computer proficiency
• Comfortable performing manual labour and working in outdoor environments
• Ability to pass a Category 1 Rail Medical and Driver History Check (mandatory) as part of the Aurizon recruitment process

Responsibilities

• Daily duties include the use of manual hand tools and some heavy vehicle equipment
• Maintain safety and reliability of rail infrastructure across the Dry Creek–Adelaide region
• Participate in on-the-job training and development programs
