Job summary

Aurizon is seeking a Civil Supervisor based at our Gladstone depot to lead and support a team of Track Workers and Road Patrollers across a 200km track network. You will oversee day‑to‑day maintenance, crew planning and resourcing, delivering safe, high‑quality outcomes while building a positive team culture.

You will provide coaching, guidance and performance management, driving continuous improvement and ensuring alignment with safety standards and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in high‑risk heavy industry environments.
• Strong focus on safety, discipline and team development.
• Experience with rail, mining, construction or logistics is advantageous.
• Ability to plan, supervise and improve service delivery against targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Track Workers and Road Patrollers across CQCN.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day maintenance operations and crew planning.
• Review leave, manage performance and conduct risk assessments.
• Coach and develop direct reports to achieve objectives.
