Job summary

ARTC is seeking safety-focused Infrastructure Maintainers to perform hands-on maintenance across our rail network in Port Augusta. You will work outdoors, operate machinery, weld, and carry out inspections as part of a collaborative team committed to safety and quality.

The role offers a Monday to Friday roster (7:00 am – 3:30 pm) with overtime and on-call opportunities, plus ongoing training and professional development within Australia's rail infrastructure sector.

Qualifications

• Current HR licence required.
• Operator tickets desirable.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on maintenance and upkeep of ARTC’s rail network.
• Perform general labouring and track maintenance tasks.
• Carry out safety protection duties and inspections.
• Operate heavy machinery and welding equipment.
• Support minor construction works for planned upgrades.
• Maintain adherence to safety and quality standards.
