ARTC is seeking Infrastructure Maintainers to perform hands-on maintenance on Australia’s rail network. The role involves track maintenance, safety duties, inspections, heavy machinery operation, welding and other specialised maintenance tasks, with a flexible roster and overtime opportunities.

You will join a safety‑focused team, gain practical skills across track maintenance and machinery, and contribute to essential rail infrastructure that keeps Australia moving forward.

Qualifications

• Current HR licence.
• Operator tickets – desirable.
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on maintenance and upkeep of ARTC’s rail network.
• Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance activities.
• Support minor construction works for planned capital upgrades.
• Operate heavy machinery and welding as required.
