Job summary

Aurizon is seeking an experienced Track Worker (RIW Level 3) in Queensland. You will join a small team responsible for maintaining track to required standards and contributing to safe, efficient rail operations.

The role prioritises safety, outdoors work in all weather, and a positive, can-do attitude. Candidates with C class licence and rail experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Previous track maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong safety focus and outdoor work readiness.
• Licences and qualifications must be current.

Responsibilities

• Carry out track maintenance to required standards.
• Work as part of a small team with safety at the forefront.
• Be willing to operate track machinery as needed.

Job description

Aurizon’s Civil Infrastructure Team is looking for experienced Track Workers (RIW Level 3). You'll be part of a small team responsible for carrying out track maintenance to required standards.

We're looking for people with a positive, can-do attitude, a strong focus on safety and a willingness to work outdoors in all weather.

About you:

• Minimum ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence required, HR Licence or higher preferred
• Strong rail labouring experience and knowledge
• Certificate III in Rail Infrastructure
• Experience and qualifications in operating loaders or excavators will be highly regarded as will welding experience
• Problem solving skills and the ability to think of the next step & self-confidence to speak up in all situations
• Willing to complete any training provided within 6-12 months
