Alstom is seeking a Project Buyer to drive procurement excellence for a major signalling infrastructure project in Australia. Based in Perth CBD, you will manage supplier selection, create contracts, and implement commodity strategies to meet timelines and budget.

You will work with cross-functional teams to optimize sourcing, negotiate supplier agreements, and monitor performance while maintaining supply chain reliability and risk management.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in related field and procurement experience on projects.
• Experience managing supplier selection, contracts and execution.
• Exposure to procurement categories such as metallic components, cubicles, connectors, cables and relays.

Responsabilités

• Lead sourcing strategies for major rail projects to optimize cost and scale.
• Define and implement procurement strategies for assigned projects.
• Negotiate contracts and supplier agreements.
• Monitor supplier performance for quality and delivery.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement with project goals.
• Ensure supply chain reliability through proactive risk management and audits.
