Queensland Rail is seeking an Operations Support Officer to help run the Onboard and Station Customer Service depot in Bundaberg. The role supports the Operations Co-Ordinator with coordinating, supervising staff, and handling administrative duties.

Permanent full-time position based in Bundaberg, with a rotating roster and shifts starting as early as 0400. Includes opportunities to contribute to service delivery and safety across long-distance trains.

Formación

• Strong organisational, negotiation, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience in an administrative support role using Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Experience with cash handling and basic accounting procedures.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and customer service capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate operational tasks such as shunts and platform allocations.
• Coordinate provisioning of food and beverages on trains, ensuring quality.
• Supervise onboard staff and arrange replacements per roster.
• Support supervision of platform activities to ensure safety and on-time running.
• Record financial data and assist with reports and cash handling.
• Work rotating roster including early starts, late finishes, overnights, weekends.
