Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a Senior Manager Engineering in Sydney for a fixed-term role up to 45 months. You will lead civil and structural engineering across Sydney Metro West packages, guiding design and construction from planning to commissioning.

You will work with implementation teams and contractors, delivering complex infrastructure safely and efficiently while aligning with project requirements and business objectives.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified engineer with 10+ years delivering major rail or transport infrastructure.
• Strong civil and structural engineering expertise with multi-disciplinary project experience.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and work with contractors and delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide civil and structural engineering leadership across station and rail packages.
• Advise on design, construction methodologies and technical solutions.
• Collaborate with package leads, delivery teams and contractors to resolve complex issues.
• Support delivery through design, construction, testing and commissioning phases.
