Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a seasoned civil engineer to deliver infrastructure and maintenance projects from planning to completion at Singleton, NSW. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, contractors and industry partners to ensure projects meet scope, quality, time and budget requirements while enhancing network performance and road safety.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing project estimates, delivery programs and project management documentation.
• Ability to work with procurement, tendering and contract management processes.
• Strong organisational skills to plan, prioritise and deliver in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in project management and information management systems and tools.
• Commitment to safety, continuous improvement and delivering quality outcomes.
• Australian four-year Civil Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Current Australian driver's licence and willingness to travel/outside hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of road and maintenance projects from initiation to completion.
• Coordinate investigations, planning and design activities with scopes and cost estimates.
• Procure, manage and oversee consultants, contractors and service providers.
• Prepare and administer contract documentation and project requirements.
• Monitor performance to meet safety, quality, cost and schedule targets.
• Implement financial controls and cost management across projects.
• Promote workplace health and safety, environmental and risk management standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to balance road safety, asset management and network efficiency.
