Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead and deliver road infrastructure projects and maintenance programs across Central West NSW. You will plan, schedule, coordinate delivery, review information, and develop plans to support safe, on-time, on-budget outcomes.

You will manage contracts, procurement, and stakeholder relationships, mentor project engineers, and promote a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Four-year civil/structural engineering degree (or equivalent).
• Current Australian driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
• Experience planning and delivering road infrastructure projects and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of project management, procurement, tendering and contract administration.
• Proven leadership of project teams and diverse workforces.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver projects and programs safely, on time, within budget and to scope.
• Manage customer communication and stakeholder relationships.
• Develop delivery plans and coordinate contractors and internal service providers.
• Administer contracts and monitor performance to ensure WHS and environment compliance.
• Promote safety culture and build team capability.
