Job summary

Fleetwood Australia is seeking experienced Site Supervisors to lead delivery across education, government and community sectors in Queensland. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage safety, and ensure projects meet schedule and budget while travelling to regional sites across the state.

The role reports to the Project Manager and demands strong leadership, drawing on methods, drawings, and on-site decision-making to deliver high-quality outcomes in a dynamic modular construction environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Site Supervisor, Foreman, Leading Hand or similar construction leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, site coordination and subcontractor management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple trades and deliver projects safely and efficiently.
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace health, safety and compliance.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and project documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and confidence making decisions independently on site.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Current driver's licence.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel throughout Queensland and work away from home when required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and on schedule.
• Coordinate subcontractors, labour, materials, plant and equipment to support project outcomes.
• Provide regular updates to the Project Manager on programme, quality, safety and commercial performance.
• Ensure works comply with WHSEQ requirements, specifications and Fleetwood standards.
• Lead site inductions, toolbox talks, inspections and safety activities.
• Manage subcontractor performance, site access, compliance and quality expectations.
• Complete site documentation including diaries, inspections, ITPs and safety records.
• Coordinate site logistics including transport, cranes, deliveries and mobilisation.
• Identify and resolve site issues, risks and construction challenges proactively.
• Assist with defect management, commissioning activities and project close-out.
• Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, clients, authorities and stakeholders.
• Promote a positive safety culture and lead by example on site.
